Pastor Jeff focuses on the discovery of Jesus’ body being gone and how they reacted. He begins the message with a list of discoveries that have happened throughout history and how they have changed the world. Discovering that Jesus was (is) alive changed everyones world forever. He talks about how the women arrived at the tomb early; not because they were anxious to find him alive, but to finish their work with the dead.
Upon arrival at the tomb the women’s major concern was gaining access to Jesus’ body. That problem was solved (as they usually are) by divine intervention. The stone had been rolled away to allow them to go in, not so Jesus could go out. He was already gone from the grave and they departed excited.
Even though we don’t understand everything or how it happened, we can be excited for what God has done or is doing.
